Candles today. Coffee cups tomorrow

Our

Story

Almendro Station began with a pause.
A moment of stillness, candlelight, and coffee, a daily habit born in the heart of Cali, Colombia, under thousands of Almendros (Almond trees).

It’s also the name of the neighborhood where our founder grew up, and the inspiration behind a brand that celebrates the art of slowing down.

We created Almendro Station to blend the beauty of handmade design with the soul of Latin America. Every product is an invitation to reconnect, with yourself, your space, and the stories woven into everyday objects.

The Hands

Behind the Flame

Every candle tells more than one story.

Our ceramic vessels are crafted by women artisans in Colombia, some of them single mothers, who shape, fire, and hand-paint each piece from scratch. No two are the same. These aren’t mass-produced containers, they’re functional art, designed to live on long after the wax melts away.

Each candle is then hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax sourced from the U.S., free of toxins, paraffin, or synthetic fragrance. We honor slow processes and intentional craftsmanship at every step, because good things take time, and beautiful things deserve a story.

Sustainability:

Designed to Be Kept

In the U.S. alone, over 2 billion candle vessels are discarded every year.

That’s billions of jars sent to landfills, many made from non-recyclable glass, plastic, or materials that leach toxins when burned.

At Almendro Station, we’re reimagining the life of a candle. Our ceramic vessels are built to be reused, not thrown away. When the wax is gone, a beautiful cup remains. It’s a simple idea with lasting impact: less waste, more beauty, and everyday objects that carry meaning.

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us, it’s built into our design. From refill options to low-waste packaging, we’re constantly exploring ways to reduce our footprint and increase our impact.
